Salmoso OG
Seed Type: F1 Hybrid Feminized Autoflower
Genetics: Emerald Fire OG x Dawgwalker F3
Heritage: The selected seed mother was chosen out of 5 fully pollinated Emerald Fire OG plants bred by Humboldt Seed company in Northern California. She had a large and bushy structure with an almost even canopy layer, the central cola only slightly taller than the rest. She had very frosty and dense buds that were just slightly elongated. She was all about gas and fuel on the nose, very potent. The Dawgwalker F3 was bred by myself and was a full Stardawg photoperiod (Top Dawg Seeds) to autoflower conversion using Skywalker OG auto bred by Mephisto Genetics. The Dawgwalker F3 reversal was selected from 12 strong candidates to be the pollen donor. She was extremely vigorous, and had a strong and spicy stem rub aroma early on. She later proved to have very dense buds and had the strongest chem aroma of the 12. Her terpene profile finished a strong sour-chem-gas nose at full maturity.
Aromas/Flavors: Gas and fuel exhaust. Funky toenail cheese. Lemon oil. Sour chem. Earthy.
Broad-Narrow Leaf Spectrum: Medium-Broad leaf dominant
Average Grow Time: 70-90 days from sprout to harvest.
THC/CBD: High/low
Effects: Salmoso OG has some of the classic OG Kush medicinal features. It’s extremely gassy & fuel aromas are backed by some fruity, lemon zest notes that command powerful effects. Low doses at low temperatures (a puff or 2 of flower vapor) can help alleviate stress and anxiety while promoting a more positive mindset. Perfect meds after a long day at work. Stronger doses at higher temperatures (dabbing rosin, bong rips etc) give it very narcotic effects that can help improve sleep and manage pain. Effects tend to be longer lasting than others.
The Alebrije: The Salmoso OG is a Salmon-Bear hybrid with very unique American roots. An international mix of genetics sprinkled into the cultural melting pot of USA with help of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love and hippie followers of the always traveling Grateful Dead. Exactly where the creature spawned is unknown, but California provided the perfect terrain for this large bushy beast to expand into the monster it is today. The Salmoso is an extremely sticky & greasy creature with fishy skin as slick as an oil spill. The beast loves snacking on California citrus, pungent mushrooms, fermented cacao beans and is known for it’s extremely loud gas after a meal. Once the Salmoso’s belly is full and exhaust fumes are expelled, it likes to curl up in a backwoods cave to enjoy a long and relaxing nap, free from the stress of the world. Art by @ilaxolotl
